
Unpaid investment banking internships are available for college seniors and students pursuing an MBA. Internships are available during the school year and during the summer. Relationship Manager
Relationship Managers are required to balance their time and service commitments between developing relationships with new clients and executing existing client engagements. Each Relationship Manager is responsible for ensuring that we consistently deliver a quality work product in a timely manner and that we exceed our client’s expectations in the process.
Relationship Managers are expected to be the primary liaison between the firm and its clients. As such they remain the client’s point of contact with the firm and they are expected to be deeply involved in each step of the client’s engagement.
A Relationship Manager’s responsibilities include:
- Business Development - participating in the firm’s marketing programs and making presentations to referral sources and potential clients.
- Transaction Execution - interacting with other Christman Group professionals, the firm’s clients, and their advisors to successfully deliver results to our clients.
- Oversight of Client Team - supervising, coordinating and reviewing the work of our Transaction Specialists and Analysts to ensure that we consistently deliver a quality work product to our clients on or before the due date.
Years of Experience Required
10-15 years of work experience with a demonstrated ability to originate new client engagements.
Education Requirement
Undergraduate degree, advanced degree a plus but not required
Job Essentials
A Relationship Manager must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A Relationship Manager must be an effective public speaker and be able to communicate clearly and persuasively in both verbal and written communications. A Relationship Manager must be willing to accept profit and loss responsibility for one of the firm’s regional offices.
